Three Sisters Kitchen (TSK) uses the power and love of local food to create economic opportunity, improve
community health, and bring our diverse communities together around the table. Social enterprise programming
makes up a core component of our non-profit organization, and supports our commitment to sourcing local
ingredients, celebrating the bounty of New Mexico, providing good jobs, and generating revenue for Three Sisters
Kitchen’s community programs. An anchor of our social enterprise programs is TSK Food Group, a manufactured
food product line with a focus on local ingredients and flavors. Notable products include TSK Granola, which currently
sells at a variety of retailers around the state, as well as local farmers’ markets.
We are hiring a Market Coordinator to sell TSK Food Group products at weekend farmers’ markets. As a
vendor at farmers’ markets, the Market Coordinator will also be responsible for sharing information about Three
Sisters Kitchen programs and events with the public. The Market Coordinator may also attend other events and
pop-up sales events as needed and desired. The Market Coordinator will efficiently execute these responsibilities
while meeting the high customer service expectations of Three Sisters Kitchen.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Engage the public in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring the quality standards of service established
by TSK are upheld - Apply for farmers’ markets, obtain City permits, follow market guidelines and attend other pop-up events
- Work directly with market customers to take orders, process payments, and help them with any questions or
concerns they may have in a timely manner - Follow customer service guidelines as outlined by the organization
- Provide Manufacturing Manager with an inventory of market items sold
- Provide Manufacturing Manager with a clear financial report after each market
- Communicate with the Sales Manager about any discrepancies that might have happened during market
- Ensure that products being taken to market meet the high standards of Three Sisters Kitchen
- Support other programs as needed, including delivery driving
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience
- Charismatic energy and ability to navigate social situations gracefully
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in conflict-resolution techniques, ensuring customer satisfaction with dignity
- Ability to utilize Google Workspace programs including Docs, Sheets, etc.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Desire to create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our staff, clients, and vendors
This job requires the ability to work on your feet for long stretches at a time and lift up to 50 pounds. Travel to markets will be required.
