Soma Ayurvedika NM Spice Mix
NM Spice Mix from Soma Ayurvedika, a graduate of Three Sisters Kitchen’s Food Business Training Program
Soma Ayurvedika is a tea, herb, and snack company providing high-quality products using local and organic ingredients sourced from responsible and sustainable places. Anthony, the owner and creator, applies principles and practices from Ayurveda, the ancient healing medical system from India as well as local/native ingredients and knowledge from New Mexico and the Mountain West.
Soma Ayurvedika provides organic traditionally made Chai, Herbal Tea Blends, and wholesome snacks like Blue Corn Lavender Tea Biscuits. Products are produced mindfully and intentionally with the seasons, people’s individual constitutions, and qualities of nature in mind. Medicinal teas and spice mixes are gently and freshly ground in small batches to keep their integrity. The approach is simple and purposeful to support and facilitate a healthy lifestyle.
The NM Spice Mix is a unique blend of organic herbs and spices like Chimayo Red Chile powder and herbs that are used in traditional New Mexico cooking. It has a spicy, pungent, and savory quality to it with a myriad of uses. It can be used on roasted corn, popcorn, or baked potato. Add to soups, stews, omelets, rice and potato dishes or to any meal for added nutritional value.
Use a pinch or anywhere from ¼ to 1 full teaspoon depending on the recipe and need. Each spice in the mix has its own particular health benefits ranging from supporting digestion and stomach health to better circulation and organ function.
