Italian Cooking Class: Risotto

Do you feel intimidated just hearing the word “risotto”? Don’t! The instructor will show you how easy it can be to make a consistently fantastic risotto in your own kitchen. You’ll learn how to prepare a clear broth, what rice to choose and how to toast it, how to cook risotto and how to obtain the right consistency and to serve this smooth and creamy Italian staple. During the class we’ll prepare three different types of risotto: a traditional Milanese saffron, one with mushrooms and one with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts.
