Delivery Driver

Social enterprise programming makes up a core component of our non-profit organization, and includes catering, wholesale, retail operations, and farmers markets. These business operations support our commitment to sourcing local ingredients, celebrating the bounty of New Mexico, providing good jobs, and generating revenue for Three Sisters Kitchen’s community programs.
Three Sisters Kitchen is seeking a Delivery Driver to deliver packaged and prepared foods sold under the social enterprise program to support the Kitchen with occasional ingredient pick-up, and support with other organizational tasks as needed.. The Delivery Driver reports directly to the Sales Manager and works closely with the Chef and Kitchen Team.
Deliveries typically depart from our downtown kitchen at 8:30 am Tuesday-Saturday, and take about 10-15 hours per week. Drivers are expected to provide their own vehicle. Three Sisters Kitchen will reimburse the driver for mileage at the Federal reimbursement rate in addition to an hourly wage.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee all food delivery operations
- Communicate with Sales Manager and Kitchen Team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards regarding safe handling and delivery of food
- Set up and occasionally take down for catering and other community events
- Representing the values of TSK in all vendor and customer engagement
- Attend organizational meetings and events as required
- Additional duties as needed
Requirements:
- Access to a vehicle
- Flexible schedule
- Saturday availability
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Self-starter & team player
- Desire to create and maintain warm relationships with TSK customers
- Valid NM drivers license
- Auto insurance
- Clean driving record
