NM Chile Mix is a versatile spice blend with a pungent quality and a wide range of uses. Made with local Red Chile grown in Chimayo, New Mexico which is in the northern part of the State. Chimayo Chile is a little harder to find in the state and not often found commercially. With a little more orange color than red and a subtle smokey taste and aroma, this sun-dried Chile adds a wonderful health-promoting quality to food. A little spicy and heating so use according to your specific constitution and need. Blended with organic cumin and garlic to balance it out and add more digestive qualities. Put it on roasted corn, baked potato, and popcorn, or add it to oil during your tempering process. Can be used in soups, stews, curries, rice and potato dishes, dal recipes, and more!
