Featured Bag Item
Peaches are high in vitamin A and C, which have antioxidant properties that help maintain our overall health. Peaches are also high in fiber, which reduces cholesterol and manages blood sugar levels by slowing the rate of sugar absorption in the body. Peaches can be served fresh or baked. To ripen peaches faster, place peaches in a brown paper bag on the kitchen counter. Once the peaches have reached ripeness, then you should place them in the refrigerator. They should last about an additional week in the refrigerator.

Recipes We Love!
Check out the below three recipes that you can use your Refresh bag with.
Crispy Fingerling potatoes – enjoy hot as a side for grilled meats or veggies
Potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C and potassium (more than a banana). Fingerlings are also a good source of vitamin B6 and are fat, sodium and cholesterol-free. Fingerling potatoes can be served as a side dish with a protein, sauce or soup.
Onions contain antioxidants that have been linked to reduced risk of cancer, lower blood sugar levels, and improved bone health.
Basil is an herb that its essential oils can help lower cholesterol and triglycerides. It also contains magnesium which can help improve blood flow by reducing inflammation and allowing muscles and blood vessels to relax.
Agave is Life film screening: Agave is Life is an exploration of the history of the agave plant in the cultures of Mexico and the American Southwest. Starting thousands of years ago when hunter-gatherers viewed the hardy desert succulent with its myriad uses as a gift from the gods, agave’s story is told through the lens of archaeological, ethnographic, and modern-day vignettes, closing with concerns about threats to the plant’s future.
