Peach Yogurt and Granola Jar– Enjoy as a breakfast or a snack. Use the delicious granola from TSK:Food Group for this recipe to add some New Mexican flavor!
Chile Rellenos – Can be enjoyed as a side to a Mexican/New Mexican dish.
Tzatziki Dip made with dill – Can be enjoyed with vegetables for dipping.
Green chile is a no-cholesterol fruit that has vitamins A, C, B6 and minerals such as copper, potassium and iron. Chile is part of the Capsicum (bell pepper) family. The spiciness from chili peppers is from the plant compound, capsaicin. Capsaicin is beneficial for our immunity.
Dill is an herb that has manganese, vitamin A, folate, iron and vitamin C. This herb has health benefits such as protection against heart disease, and certain forms of cancer.
